Who Am I?

Tall blond
walking down the deck
no one stops her
most try to run
eyes direct
flashes of anger
linger on the surface of her skin.
Fun yet respected
fear a double edged sword
as eruptions of emotion
create a wall between
her and her staff

Impatience
movement constant
yet
desiring to be still.
A flutter
a flash
a neverending
social whirl

Can I get off?

Daughter
friend
whining monster
spastic child
craving to be more adult
hoping she passes the grade
to all those taken in by her disguise

Will I never be satisfied?

Lonely
Awake
Happy with family
Scared of change
Desiring her own future
Jealous of those already in their place
