desired
warm in a sea of emotion

as emotion and nerves batter a newly found heart

held
kept safe in another's arms
fears and joys all cocooned within
comfort as close as a touch in the dark
Alone
aware
edges jagged and missing pieces
of a soul once shared
now grasping at an empty space in the dark
